Meet Michelle ❤️ — this time, forever means FOREVER. Michelle thought she had found her forever home after being adopted from a Humane Society in Missouri. Sadly, she was returned to a shelter after being lost twice on a busy highway. Her first rescue was thanks to a caring police officer, but her second incident left her far from home, with the adopter unreachable. It's hard to imagine someone adopting a dog and then letting it roam. But that misstep is their loss. Because Michelle is just fabulous. ❤️ She’s got the sweetest little face, twinkling eyes, and a cuddly belly that’s hard to resist. Rolling in the grass is one of her favorite pastimes, and she loves being close to her people. And those adorable piggy snorts she makes while sniffing around? Utterly charming! Even the police officer who rescued her couldn’t help but fall in love. At almost 4 years old, Michelle is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and completely ready for a new home. She’s past the puppy antics and just a gentle, affectionate companion waiting to settle down. Michelle has already faced abandonment once, and we want her next home to be her last.
