About Edelweiss
Meet Edelweiss, or Edie as she’s affectionately known, the sassy yet regal queen of our Sanctuary. Her dilute calico point Siamese coat and brilliant blue eyes make her a standout—a true feline supermodel. While she enjoys the company of people, she can become overwhelmed in multi-cat households, preferring instead a serene space where she can be the center of attention. Edie loves to cuddle and be held, showcasing her sweet nature with every affectionate gesture. As a brave survivor of FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), Edie has faced tough challenges, but with exceptional care from Kitten Rescue, she overcame this serious condition. Though she has food allergies and is currently undergoing immunotherapy for skin issues, these matters don't detract from her spirited personality. Edie is looking for a tranquil forever home free from small children and other pets, where she can thrive as a single cat. Having waited several years for her true domain, she yearns for someone to shower her with love. Would you be the devoted companion to elevate Edie to the throne of your heart? **Edie is being sponsored by the Special Souls Feline Foundation, covering all of her medical and food expenses up to $10,000.** What are you waiting for?
