About Chance

Meet Chance! This sweet boy is a 10-month-old lab mix with a remarkable survival story. Found in a wire crate abandoned by the side of the road, he faced severe injuries, including a broken leg that had to be amputated. Now in a wonderful foster home, Chance is healing and showing his true colors. Despite his rough past, he radiates happiness and affection. He gets along well with other dogs and is highly food motivated, reflecting his eagerness to please. His foster family shares that he loves spending time with kids, eagerly greeting his 6 and 9-year-old nephews. Though he’s adjusting beautifully to life on three legs, he still has plenty of energy and sass. House training is going well, and he’s learned to use the doggy door. Chance enjoys lounging in the sun, playing with toys, and snuggling with his foster sister. We believe that the remainder of Chance's life should be filled with love and joy.
