Petra is a medium-sized female dog, approximately 5 months old. She has a medium coat and weighs around 24 pounds. Petra has been spayed and is up to date with all vaccinations. Although she is still working on being house trained, she is friendly and sociable, getting along well with both dogs and cats. Currently located in Humboldt, TN, she's ready for a loving home where she can thrive.

Meet Petra, the charming little lady with beautiful markings that catch the eye. A delightful mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound, she brings a spunky and good-natured spirit to any setting. While she's a bit more reserved than her sister, Petra loves to play and run around with other dogs and toys. Engaging with people brings her joy, and she completely gets along with canine companions as well as cats. Petra is looking for an active, fun-loving family who will embrace her into their daily adventures. Petra is a healthy 5-month-old who has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. She’s on heartworm and flea prevention as well. While she’s still working on her house training, her friendly demeanor and eagerness to join in make her a wonderful addition to the right home. Note that due to local regulations, applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine cannot be accepted.
