**O’Henry: It’s Finally His Turn to Be Loved** O’Henry has every reason not to trust people. Despite a painful start in life, he still shows incredible sweetness and affection. This gentle young boy, around 2 years old, was found in San Miguel de Allende, where he endured neglect and abuse, including being tied with wire around his neck. Thankfully, someone intervened, and thanks to dedicated volunteers and a veterinarian, he received the care he desperately needed to heal. Once he was free, O'Henry found comfort living near our rescue area, quickly becoming a beloved figure to many. He thrives on attention and warmth from those who show him kindness. His soft nature and friendly demeanor shine through, especially as he delights in human companionship. Not one to fight back when other dogs picked on him, O'Henry responds to the world with gentleness. He embodies the qualities of a loving companion — loyal, affectionate, and eager to connect. For the right person or family, O'Henry is ready to bring joy and love into their lives. He is currently safe in foster care in San Miguel de Allende, but what he truly needs is his forever home.
