Meet Hershey, our uniquely charming and affectionate dog! With the athletic build of a Border Collie and the distinctive head and face of a Pit Bull, he truly has a one-of-a-kind appearance. At times, Hershey can be a bit shy, especially when he meets new people, often seeking comfort by curling up quietly on the floor. Hershey joined us on July 29, and since then, we’ve noticed some signs of sadness. In his kennel, he tends to be quiet, lying down for long stretches, seemingly lost in thought. The adjustment to his new surroundings has made him hesitant to come when called. While in the kennel, he displays a mix of behaviors, sometimes barking at other dogs, reflecting his insecurities and a hint of assertiveness. With the right guidance, patience, and plenty of love, Hershey has the potential to flourish and truly come out of his shell.
