About Joey

Joey has had a bumpy road recently. He came to us as a tiny kitten in 2019, weighing just 4 lbs. After a brief stint in foster care, he found his forever family, thinking he’d found his happily ever after. Sadly, that didn’t last; in August 2026—seven years later—Joey returned to us because his previous owner could no longer care for him. This once 4 lb kitten is now a hefty 21 lbs, feeling scared and confused. He’s searching for a new home where he can feel safe and secure again and get back to a healthier weight. If you’re interested in Joey, visit angelsforanimals.org to fill out a pre-adoption application. Once approved, we’ll set up an appointment for you to meet him and other kitties looking for homes. We look forward to seeing you soon!
