She arrived at the rescue from Cincinnati, heavily pregnant, and despite the loss of two of her eight puppies, she has maintained her cheerful spirit. Juniper, affectionately known as Junie, has a charming smile that lights up when she's happy. She's got the playful nature of both breeds, standing short like a Basset Hound and boasting the athletic look of a Pit Bull. Juniper is wonderful with other dogs, does well with cats, and is good with kids. She walks nicely on a leash and is fully house trained.
