About Cowboy Charlie

Cowboy Charlie found his way to safety at Lake Eufaula, thanks to a caring foster mother. After being neutered and given all his vaccines, he also received treatment for heartworm and flea prevention. Charlie has a healed broken elbow, which gives him a slight limp, yet he gets around without any hurdles. At around 3 years old, Cowboy Charlie is sweet and affectionate. He thrives on belly rubs and enjoys simply being near his people. He’s potty trained and knows how to use doggie doors with ease. Currently, he lives with a 72-year-old foster mom alongside two dogs and a cat, all of whom he gets along with, often engaging in playful tug of war. Charlie's foster mom wishes she could keep him, but she believes he deserves a family that can provide more attention and outdoor adventures. Meeting his new forever family would be a joy for Cowboy Charlie, as he’s ready to give all the love he has. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
