About Mustard

Mustard is a 2-year-old, 91-pound sweetheart with a charmingly big frame and an even bigger personality. Rescued through our connections with the Seminole Tribe and now thriving in a foster home, he’s proven to be an affectionate companion who enjoys being with his people. Though he loves to cuddle and follow you around, he also knows how to keep himself entertained with his beloved Nylabones. This big guy thrives on enrichment. He needs plenty of activities to keep both his body and mind occupied—whether it’s walks, playtime, or puzzles. If his needs aren’t met, his playful antics might lead him to reorganize your shoes and socks around the house, not out of mischief but perhaps just to express his opinion on their placement. Mustard is also known to be delightfully messy when it comes to drinking water. Expect some splashes and drips that may turn your floor into a mini slip-and-slide. His ever-wagging tail adds to the charm, though be cautious; it could clear a table if you’re not careful! He's dog-friendly but requires a meet-and-greet to see how he interacts with potential canine siblings, especially since he’s not suitable for homes with small dogs or cats. Currently, Mustard is receiving treatment for heartworm, supervised by Runaways. If you’re ready for a big-hearted, loving companion with good house manners, Mustard might just be the one for you!
