Meet Harper! Harper is a lovely 2-year-old black and tan tabby with a shy yet gentle nature. She came into rescue as a kitten and has since settled at Sanctuary One. Although she has grown more comfortable here, new people can still be daunting for her. When feeling uncertain, Harper prefers to retreat to a safe spot like a cat tree, where she can observe from a distance. She won't be the first to rush over for attention; it takes her time to feel safe enough to let her guard down. However, she thrives around her feline friends and enjoys spending sunny afternoons lounging in the catio. Harper needs a patient family who understands that trust takes time. With kindness and encouragement, she will gradually open up to new experiences. The right family will value the small steps she takes towards building her confidence. There's a brave soul waiting to emerge from her shyness, and we are excited to see her blossom as she learns that the world can be a wonderful place. Ready to fall in love?
