He recently found his way to the care of the Roanoke Valley SPCA in Roanoke, VA, weighing 13.5 lbs, ready to be your new companion.

Fishington is participating in the Pets for Patriots Program, making him a special companion for those who have served. Don’t be misled by his tough exterior; beneath that gruff face lies a gentle soul. This easygoing fellow thrives on affection, rolling over for pets and showering you with love—and maybe a little drool during happier moments. His charm is contagious and he brings plenty of warmth to any home. Fishington is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been tested for FeLV. He would love to find his forever home where he can share his love and companionship. If you’re interested in adopting Fishington, please submit an online Adoption Application through the Roanoke Valley SPCA's website. They schedule appointments for adoptions from Monday to Saturday, between noon and 6 PM.
