Meet Cricket, a lovely small dog who recently found her way to Recycled Best Friends via some dedicated SOS beagle volunteers. She’s around a year old and has a mix of Yorkshire Terrier vibes with her beautiful long coat in shades of brown, black, and gray. Cricket may be a bit shy at first, but she quickly warms up to people and thrives on attention. While she’s still getting accustomed to her new surroundings, she shows some hesitancy towards other dogs, possibly feeling jealous or scared. We're giving her gradual opportunities to meet some of the other rescues in a secure setting. Cricket knows the basics of leash walking, though she can get vocal when she wants some affection. She is working hard to keep her kennel clean, so continued training will be beneficial. We're excited to support her through the next steps, including spaying and vaccinations, before she can get a groom.
