About Nora

Nora arrived at the shelter needing some serious TLC after suffering from a broken pelvis and road rash. With dedicated care from our medical team, she spent her first weeks healing and is now a vibrant, healthy dog ready to embrace life. In her foster home, Nora has shown her true colors: she’s bright, goofy, and full of love. Although she arrived quite energetic and a bit overwhelmed by new experiences, patience and structure helped her settle in beautifully. Nora is an eager learner who is currently practicing her recall and improving her potty schedule. She loves squeaky toys and enjoys a good morning play or run, with feather pillows being a favorite comfort. Nora has met children and gets along fairly well, but she prefers older kids. When it comes to other dogs, she’s best matched with high-energy pups who enjoy playtime. Her foster jokingly notes that she still thinks she’s a sled dog, especially when she gets excited in the car! This social butterfly recently joined her foster’s book club and happily participated as a lounge bud, showing off her charming personality. She's a socialite at heart and thrives on interaction, whether it's listening to piano practice or playing with visiting furry friends. Nora is around 4 years old and weighs 35 pounds.
