About Everest

Meet Everest, affectionately known as “Mama Cat.” She came to us from the streets, bringing along a litter of tiny kittens who depended entirely on her. Though we can't say what her past was like, we can definitely share that she has been an amazing mother. For weeks, Everest dedicated herself to nurturing her babies, protecting and caring for them without hesitation. It was heartwarming to watch how devoted she was, and it made our whole family fall for her. As her kittens matured and Everest began to explore her new surroundings, we started to see the lovely cat beneath her maternal role. Everest is a sweet, gentle soul who genuinely enjoys human company. She actively seeks out attention and loves to be petted, always wanting to be close to the family. Remarkably, Everest displays a preference for children, eagerly following our school-age kids and seeking their affection and playful belly rubs. She has never shown any signs of aggression. While she doesn’t like being picked up, Everest prefers to receive love with all four paws firmly on the ground.
