Meet Ruby! Ruby, affectionately known as Ruby Roo, is a loving 1-2 year old Pit Bull mix seeking an experienced adopter to help her gain confidence and thrive. Though she can be tentative around new people, once she feels at ease, Ruby shines with her playful spirit and boundless affection. This playful girl lights up at the sound of her nickname and adores baby talk, toys, and treats. She does best meeting new friends in larger spaces where she can move freely. Ruby needs a patient person who understands her signals and willingly encourages her during interactions. While she may lunge or bark when feeling unsure about someone, she is not possessive over food or toys and responds incredibly well to positive reinforcement. Ruby is fully house trained, crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. She has participated in playgroups and attended daycare, showcasing her friendly nature with her canine companions. However, due to her sensitivity around unfamiliar faces, she would flourish in an adult-only home. Adopters must be at least 21 years old and committed to her ongoing training. Adoption fee: $315.
