Meet Roo — also known as Rupert! Roo is the honorary member of the Winnie the Pooh litter. While he isn’t actually related to the others and is likely a week or two older, you wouldn’t know by his playful spirit. Abandoned by his biological mom as a puppy, sweet Mama Robin took him in and raised him alongside her own pups. Roo appears to be a small-breed Border Collie mix with beautiful blue rings surrounding his brown eyes. This little guy is the most outgoing and cheerful of the bunch. He loves people and has never met a stranger, approaching everything in life with enthusiasm. His favorite pastimes include biting toes, zooming around, wrestling with his siblings, and barking loudly when he feels ignored. He has a knack for testing boundaries, pushing the rules just a bit further every day, and his charm often makes it easy for him to succeed. After overcoming some early health challenges, including fleas, ticks, anemia, worms, a URI, and scabies, Roo is now healthy and ready for his forever home. He’s making great progress with potty training and has a strong affinity for other dogs, so he’ll need a doggy sibling to play with. Socialization, crate training, and basic manners are essential for this spirited pup.
