Demeter is a female baby domestic short hair cat, medium in size with a short coat and a beautiful brown tabby coloring. She's house trained, altered, and fully vaccinated, making her a healthy addition to any home. Living in Waynesville, NC, she’s ready to find her forever family.

About Demeter

Demeter is a lovely kitten who came to FUR with her siblings, having spent some time as semi-feral. She's made fantastic strides in socialization but still needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter to help her come out of her shell. This playful girl enjoys her time with cat trees and wand toys, and she's food motivated. With consistency and a gentle approach, she allows pets and even enjoys cuddling next to volunteers who spend quiet time with her. Ideally, Demeter would thrive in a calm home, especially one with another friendly cat to aid in her ongoing socialization. She’s ready to discover that not all humans are intimidating, and with the right person, she'll flourish.
