Rick is a wonderful Lab/Terrier mix who is about 2 years old, and he has already proven to be a fantastic companion after being rescued from a Kentucky shelter. When he first arrived, he was scared and confused, but he has since blossomed into a loving, affectionate dog who craves attention. He’s house trained, crate trained, and even knows tricks like sit, roll over, and bang. Rick has so much love to give and is happiest when showered with belly rubs and affection from his humans. He gets along magnificently with dogs of all shapes and sizes, sharing his toys and love easily. While he enjoys the company of canine friends, he will thrive just as well as your only pet, soaking up all the love and attention you offer. Rick is gentle, social, and displays a submissive nature toward people, often rolling onto his back for belly rubs. He is working on some basic manners, which makes him a good fit for first-time dog owners. Rick’s playful spirit shines through in his love for tug-of-war, and he is not a digger or escape artist.
