Tempa is a gentle 13-year-old girl searching for a loving home to enjoy her golden years. Weighing around 65 lbs, she is a delightful cuddlebug who thrives on affection and companionship. Tempa is fantastic with other dogs and gets along well with cats. She adores playful moments in the garden with her canine foster sister. Having come to the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter under difficult circumstances, Tempa was surrendered due to her previous owner's terminal illness and their inability to provide proper care. Initially overwhelmed by her new environment, she faced medical challenges including some weakness in her back legs and recently underwent surgery to remove a benign mass at the base of her tail. Now in the care of a loving CAPE foster home, Tempa is blossoming, showcasing her sweet and slightly goofy nature. She's ready to share all her love with a forever family.
