Meet Honey, a beautiful two-year-old Husky mix with a blend of Malamute and Samoyed. Previously known as Juniper, Honey arrived at our care from the Palmdale shelter in California and is currently in training at HappyGentle Dogs in Princeton, Texas. Initially frightened of her new surroundings, Honey has made remarkable progress. She now sits at the front of her kennel, observing the world around her with curiosity. She enjoys walks outside, taking her time to smell the air, and she confidently approached the vet without hesitation, impressing the staff with her calm demeanor. Honey's training focuses on safety and kindness, allowing her to build trust at her own pace. She may take time to warm up to new people, but that’s just part of her journey. Think of it as a thoughtful courtship—compassion and patience will win her over. Honey thrives in a quiet home with someone who understands her need for routine and tranquility.
