Annabelle is a survivor, having fought hard to save her babies. Found near a road after being struck by a vehicle, she dragged herself to safety while caring for her two-day-old kittens. Tragically, she lost her front left paw and suffered significant damage to her back leg, eventually undergoing surgery to remove it. This resilient girl has overcome so much, but she needs a quiet home with a gentle caretaker. While she may have been semi-feral when rescued, Annabelle has made remarkable progress. She enjoys head pets and slow, predictable movements, making an adult-only home ideal for her. Although she’s missing part of her front leg and her entire back leg, she manages to navigate her space, which includes a low-entry litter box and close access to her food. Annabelle requires a soft area to rest since she balances on her stub, and she thrives best in a calm environment. She can be cat friendly, provided her feline companions are not overly dominant. Though she is fearful of crates, she is learning to overcome that with gentle exposure. Annabelle’s adoption fee is waived, thanks to a sponsored fee.
