About Pirate

Pirate may have only one eye, but this little guy is bursting with personality! He arrived at our care with a severely damaged eye that couldn’t be salvaged, but after surgery and recovery from his infection, he blossomed in a loving foster home. With some individual attention, Pirate regained his confidence and let his playful spirit shine. A great mix of cuddly and playful, Pirate enjoys being held and has an adorable collection of chirps and grunts to get your attention. His favorite toys include the Cat Dancer and any wand toy, but he loves nothing more than playing with his human friends. He’s especially bonded with Porsche, another cat his gentle nature complements. While he loves playing with other felines, boisterous antics can sometimes be overwhelming for him. True to his pirate name, he’s always on the lookout for food treasures! Food rewards motivate him, making training and getting him into a carrier easy. Pirate navigates his world with a bit of caution due to his blind side, occasionally bumping into things, but he runs, plays, and cuddles just like any other kitten. Come meet this charming one-eyed bandit and let him steal your heart!
