About Finn

Meet Finn, an affectionate pittie mix who is on a quest for his forever home. At around 3 years old, Finn was adopted from the East Orange Animal Shelter but, unfortunately, his family can no longer keep him. They’re teaming up with the shelter to find him a loving home before a return becomes necessary, which would be stressful for him after two stable years. This friendly boy has spent his days happily living with four children, the youngest being seven. Finn is great with school-age kids and enjoys making new friends. He’s a tug-of-war champion, relishing a good game while bringing joy to those around him. Finn is crate trained and doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, making him a well-adjusted companion. However, he does need some management during dog encounters, as he tends to react when he sees other dogs while out on walks. With calm and engaged guidance from his handler, he can navigate these situations successfully. It’s clear that Finn is responsive to directions and is eager to please.
