Nilla's journey began near the Mexico border, where this petite senior Chihuahua was discovered wandering as a stray alongside another dog. They were a clever pair, managing to evade rescue for weeks before animal control finally brought them to safety. This little white lady has demonstrated remarkable survival skills. Now safe, Nilla is revealing her sweet personality beyond the tough exterior formed on the streets. She's incredibly affectionate, enjoys the company of other dogs, and loves belly rubs. While we are still uncovering her quirks, it's clear that she has a warm heart filled with love and kindness. With her companion having been adopted, it’s Nilla’s turn to find a forever home. We may not know her past, but her future is bright. At this stage, she looks forward to cozying up on the couch, keeping an eye on meals, discovering the best warm spots, and reminding you to give her all the belly rubs she deserves. After surviving the harsh streets, Nilla deserves all the pampering. She is currently being fostered in Bryan, Texas, but distance won't be an obstacle.
