This beautiful, freckle-covered 3-year-old Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier mix is brimming with joy, affection, and a heart full of love waiting for her forever family. Her journey began as a stray in the streets of Houston, Texas. She landed in an overcrowded shelter, facing the grim reality of euthanasia. Luckily, rescue stepped in just in time, transforming her story into one of hope and resilience. For the past two months, Patches has thrived in foster care, showing her vibrant personality and adapting well. She’s incredibly dog-friendly, affectionate, and loves to be wherever her humans are, sharing in their daily adventures. Despite her past, she's proven that love and trust can prevail. Her history suggests she might have had puppies before, and she arrived heartworm positive, reminders of the care she previously lacked. Thankfully, Patches has completed her heartworm treatment and is now on the brink of a new chapter. Now she’s searching for a home where she belongs. Patches desires a cozy couch, a family to follow, and someone who cherishes her adorable freckles as much as we do. She deserves to put the past behind her and embrace the joy of a warm, loving home.
