Meet Agnes! Agnes is a sweet and energetic young pup who thrives on being part of the action. She’s playful and affectionate, ever-ready for the next adventure. Currently in foster care, Agnes is learning how to manage her big feelings and busy-bee energy. When she gets overly excited, Agnes can become a bit mouthy or jumpy. This makes it essential for her adopter to continue her manners and arousal-management training. With the right structure, enrichment, and positive reinforcement, she has already made great strides. At 1 year old and around 25 lbs, Agnes enjoys car rides and loves going on outings. She is housetrained and has a penchant for toys. Structured play is ideal for her, as she knows commands like "sit," "down," and "touch," and readily checks in with her handler. On walks, she excels with loose-leash walking using her 2 Hounds harness. We recommend Agnes as an only dog, as she does best without other pets around. Her history with cats is unknown, and while she has no prior experience with children, a home with kids aged 10 and up would be ideal due to her ongoing training needs. Agnes is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and her adoption comes with support to ensure a smooth transition to her forever home. This includes a transfer lesson on adoption day and an in-home follow-up lesson within the first week.
