Meet Emerald, a resilient young mama cat ready for her forever home. Emerald's journey has been a challenging one. Found in the Bronx living in dire conditions, she faced abandonment and hardship, all without ever having a name. Despite her struggles, she remains gentle and loving. After becoming pregnant while surviving outdoors, she gave birth to four beautiful babies. Unfortunately, she was rescued while being FIV positive, but this does not define her spirit or the joy she can bring to a family. Emerald needs a calm and caring home where she can decompress and adjust to indoor life. After everything she’s endured, she deserves safety, warmth, and love. Given her FIV status, she should be the only cat in the home unless the other cat is also FIV positive. Emerald is eager for a fresh start and the chance to experience a loving environment.
