About Winifred

Meet Winifred! Winifred is one of three sisters rescued from the rural landscapes of South Texas. While her sisters have happily found homes, Winifred has spent over a year waiting for the right family to come along. She's a bit shy and requires some time to adjust, but once she feels safe, she’ll snuggle close all night long. Mornings may see her dashing away, but her sweet disposition shines through when you pet her. Winifred has overcome her food aggression, though she still likes to sneak a bite of others’ meals if given the chance. She's compatible with both adults and children, and would likely thrive as a companion to a retiree. This low-energy Husky gets along well with other dogs and truly deserves a family that can show her what life has to offer. Could you be the one to help her find that joy? Her adoption fee is $350, which includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast. Click apply to start the adoption process.
