Satine’s journey has been a tough one, but there's hope shining through, much like her stunning coat. The name Satine encapsulates her elegance, inspired by a soft, glossy fabric. This beautiful girl was found abandoned at a Kentwood apartment complex and arrived at Crash's Landing on August 13, 2026. Thanks to her microchip, we traced her history back to her birthday on February 2, 2022. After some investigation, we learned that her former owner had to rehome her due to complexities in a busy household filled with young children, dogs, and other cats. Unfortunately, she was left outside to fend for herself, leading to her health struggles upon arrival—she was underweight and battling a Giardia infection. Despite these challenges, Satine has shown remarkable sweetness. With her unique and beautiful medium coat, she is gaining more confidence every day. While she appreciates the company, she would thrive in a quieter home, ideally as the only cat or with one compatible companion. She's not one for long cuddles but enjoys sitting on laps for some admiration. Her former owner reported that Satine cohabitated well with a senior cat in the past but may find young children too overwhelming. Once in a calm environment with patient and understanding adopters, I believe Satine will truly shine. She deserves a loving home after everything she's endured. Ready to fall in love?
