About Rockie

Rockie is a delightful 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix searching for her forever home. Weighing in at about 65 pounds, she’s come a long way in her foster care and is ready to find a family that will appreciate her flair for learning and play. This spayed girl is up to date on all her vaccinations, crate trained, and house trained. Rockie is quite intelligent and enjoys the challenge of training, so she would thrive with an owner who shares a passion for teaching. As she continues to build her confidence after a tough start, she does best in quieter environments, ideally with older children or teens. Sudden movements and loud noises can be overwhelming for her. Given her selective nature with other dogs, she would prefer to be the only pet in her new home. Cats are not her favorite either. Rockie loves to snuggle and would be a wonderful companion for someone who can provide patience and love. If you think you might be the right match for this smart and affectionate girl, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your new adventure buddy is waiting for you!
