About Banji
Meet Banji, our little miracle. This 9-month-old girl has already shown more resilience than many dogs will in their lives. Rescued from Devore High Kill Shelter at just four months old, Banji was diagnosed with distemper shortly after her arrival. We feared we might only have a brief time to love her, but we committed to providing her with all the medical care she needed. Miraculously, she fought through and survived, although she now has some neurological challenges. Despite this, Banji has a vibrant spirit and doesn’t know she’s considered ‘special needs.’ She adores children and gets along well with other dogs; she’s likely fine with cats too. Banji enjoys her walks, has plenty of puppy energy, and thinks chicken is a divine treat. More than anything, she loves being close to her people. Though her future remains uncertain, we know she deserves to be a cherished member of a family, enjoying every moment life has to offer her. Banji’s name means "one who brings joy," and she lives up to that beautifully. If you’re ready to adopt an extraordinary little dog who has already done the hard part, please reach out to us!
