Meet Wendy IV. At just 5 months old, Wendy has faced challenges no puppy should have to endure. She and her sister, Erza, were found abandoned at a gas station in the early hours, having been previously adopted from a shelter. Despite this rough start, Wendy is eager to leave her past behind and find the loving forever home she deserves. Wendy is a sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix with a slightly reserved personality. However, don’t mistake her calm demeanor for fear; she simply takes a little more time to get comfortable with new people and environments. Once she warms up, you'll find a wonderful companion who enjoys being by your side. Wendy is friendly with both people and dogs, and she's very treat-motivated, which makes her eager to learn. As a young puppy, she’s still discovering the world, so an adopter who understands the energetic nature of the Jack Russell Terrier breed will be ideal. Wendy is at a crucial stage of puppy development. Her forever family should be ready to continue her training, socialization, and confidence-building exercises. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, this little girl has tremendous potential to grow into a loving companion. Wendy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300. She participates in the Paws in Prison program, where she undergoes basic obedience training and will graduate in 2026. Although Wendy is adjusting to her training routine, she will thrive best in a home where she can spend plenty of time with her new family.
