About Diego
Meet Diego! Diego is a charming Shepherd mix with a sweet and curious personality. Born on March 16th, he’s filled with puppy energy, always ready for playtime but also happy to relax with his family. Diego is crate trained and shows progress with house training, though he might have the occasional accident. He settles quietly in his crate and often finds a cozy spot in the house to unwind. This little bundle of joy loves playing with other dogs, squeaky toys, collagen chews, and going for walks while exploring his surroundings. You'll often find him carrying a stuffed animal outside, bringing a playful spirit to any outing. Diego thrives around other dogs and enjoys their company, but having a canine friend isn’t necessary. He takes his time warming up to new people, so calm introductions with treats can help him feel at ease. While he has done well with older children, he is not suited for homes with small kids. He's still working on mastering some puppy manners, like occasional mouthiness and exploring the counters. However, he responds well to redirection and is learning every day. Diego is looking for a patient family who will help him build confidence and include him in their daily life. He’s a lovable puppy who becomes a little more confident with each passing day.
