His long, lanky frame combined with a laid-back demeanor makes him a unique young hound. Despite his size, he embodies the playful spirit of a big puppy. After being found as a stray with his four siblings, Orvis was fortunate to enter rescue thanks to the dedication of volunteers. He has a gentle disposition but an independent side, relishing exploration and affectionate moments with his humans. Orvis enjoys playing with other dogs in his foster home and has a penchant for toys that he can carry around. This big guy is like a gentle bull in a china shop—still learning to manage his length and clumsiness. Orvis is eager to learn, making an obedience class an excellent opportunity for him to refine some of his manners. He is crate-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is progressing well with house training. This impressionable youth is searching for a loving family excited to introduce him to the world.
