About Penny

Meet Penny. Penny quietly steals hearts. This shy, sensitive cat is discovering that the world can be a safe place. Underneath her timid exterior lies a sweet companion who craves gentle affection. Once settled beside her human, her purring starts almost immediately, accompanied by the cutest, plaintive little "ow" meows, as if expressing her gratitude for the company. One of her darling traits is her instinct to hide her face when feeling bashful, even as she relishes being petted. Penny took her time transitioning into her foster home, initially preferring to observe from her hiding spot before gaining confidence. She's most active during the quiet nighttime hours, enjoying cozy moments on the couch or curling up in bed with her favorite human. Penny gets along well with people and other cats, but she's not one to seek out attention. Instead, she appreciates it when you approach her. Due to her sensitive nature, she would thrive in a calm, quiet home, preferably without young, active dogs or small children. Currently on anxiety medication, Penny needs an adopter who is patient enough to let her blossom at her own pace. With time, she will become the loving companion you've always wanted.
