Meet Carl Dean, a charming 6 lb Toy Poodle mix ready to embrace a new life filled with love. Recently rescued alongside his companion Dolly, he’s found a warm foster home after being sold online by a former owner who realized he could no longer provide adequate care. Carl is a tender-hearted dog who might come across as shy at first, but he quickly warms up to new people. He enjoys being near his humans and is quite the little Velcro dog. While he may bark nervously in unfamiliar situations, he settles quickly as he becomes comfortable in his environment. Currently recovering from dental work, he is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash, although he prefers shorter strolls for now. He adapts well to living with other pets, showing a friendly disposition towards both dogs and cats. Initially hesitant around cats, Carl has come to appreciate their space and has adjusted well to his feline companions. As he starts to discover toys, his personality shines brighter with each day. Carl likely would do best in a quieter home without young children, as loud noises can unsettle him. While he isn't quite ready to join in on every adventure, he's an adaptable little guy poised to blossom with the right amount of patience and love.
