About Hazel

Meet Hazel! This energetic 7-8 month old Lab/Bull Terrier mix is expected to weigh between 50-60 pounds when fully grown. Hazel's journey began in a heartbreaking way. Found severely emaciated and covered in wounds, she weighed just 7 pounds and faced a daunting 50% chance of survival. But this little fighter has defied the odds and emerged as a sweet, loving, and playful pup. Sadly, Hazel was adopted in Vermont, but her family's older dog struggled to adapt to her playful nature. They've now made the tough choice to find her a home where she truly belongs. Hazel is affectionate, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has a love for everyone she meets. She also gets along well with cats and kids, making her a fantastic family companion. After all she's been through, Hazel deserves a forever home where she can thrive. She's currently in Brownsville, TX, and we aim to find her a loving family nearby. Click apply to start the adoption process.
