Dexter C is a gentle and loving companion who knows how to make his humans feel special. This sweet and playful boy loves to be by your side, whether he's rubbing against your legs, lounging beside you while you read, or stretching out at the foot of your bed at night. His happiest moments are spent close to his people, and he's starting to discover the joys of curling up in laps. One of the highlights of coming home to Dexter is calling his name and watching him rush over with his adorable squeaky meow. He adores belly rubs and enjoys playing fetch, although he’s still mastering the part where he brings the ball back. With a few energetic bursts each day, especially during the mornings and evenings, he likes to chase toys around but quickly settles back down. Dexter is also an avid window watcher, often captivated by squirrels and birds outside, sometimes getting a tad too enthusiastic about them. Though he initially felt a little shy in his foster home, Dexter has opened up and thrives with individual attention. He can be cautious with new people but warms up quickly. Loud noises or sudden movements can startle him, yet he usually adapts in no time. Dexter is best suited to be the only pet, allowing him to soak up all the love from his family. He uses the litter box like a champ and is learning which areas are off-limits for scratching.
