Ashley is a small, 3-year-old female mixed breed dog, looking for a home where she can continue to thrive. She has a beautiful coat of black and brown, is spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. Although she has not yet been evaluated on shedding, she is potty trained and loves to cuddle.

About Ashley

Meet Momma Ashley. She’s a remarkable dog who was rescued from a troubling hoarding situation with over 80 other dogs. Before joining the rescue, Ashley wasn’t allowed outside. Her life revolved around confined spaces, leading her to eat, sleep, and even go potty indoors. Now, she’s discovering what it truly means to be a well-loved dog. Determined to be the best girl ever, Ashley is both crate trained and potty trained. When she needs to go, she barks to let you know it’s time for a potty break outside. Such a good girl, especially given her past. Ashley adores the other dogs in her foster home and is a big snuggler. Treats are a favorite of hers, and she takes them incredibly gently. Watching her explore everything, from a bone to a chew toy, is a joy. Each new experience fills her with excitement as she learns about the good life. She walks fairly well on a leash and, with a bit more practice, she'll become fantastic. Ashley is a bit shy with men at first, often barking until she’s comfortable enough to approach and sniff them. Once she realizes they’re safe, she warms right up. After surviving her previous harsh environment, it’s heartwarming to see her embrace freedom, love, and safety. Now, she just needs a family to show her the rest of the good things she’s yet to experience. Ashley is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
