About Jack B. Nimble

Meet Jack B. Nimble! Lazy... lazy... IS THAT FOOD?! Lazy... lazy... let me climb into your lap... WAIT, YOU HAVE TREATS?! Lazy... lazy... Ohhh, a leash?! I LOVE WALKS! And then... you guessed it... back to lazy. This charming senior beagle is nearly perfect. Jack is a friendly, easygoing love bug, always eager for attention. He recently visited Tractor Supply, where he won over the cashier and snagged some treats, proving that food is his true priority. At home, Jack loves to lounge and snuggle. He'll gradually claim your lap for himself, and while he's calm indoors, he still enjoys playful moments with his canine foster siblings. Jack gets along well with dogs and is about 99% house trained. He doesn't chew on things he shouldn't and has been a fantastic houseguest. Just keep an eye on his water—when he takes a big drink, he'll need a quick potty break. He does enjoy his walks, but remember, he’s still a beagle. His nose can lead him into mischief, so he might pull on the leash when an interesting scent catches his attention. Also, he’ll take any chance to follow his nose on an unscheduled adventure, so keeping him safely contained is essential. If your idea of the perfect companion is a sweet senior hound who wants to snack, take leisurely walks, and cuddle up for long naps, Jack B. Nimble is your guy. Give this elder beagle a soft place to land for his golden years. He’ll make himself at home, especially if he spots the treat jar. Click apply to start the adoption process.
