Meet Nutter Butter, an adventurous Rottweiler mix with a heart full of love and an impressive backstory. She’s traveled from Mexico to Virginia, sporting her very own passport. Rescued alongside her siblings from a dirt road in Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro, she’s now on a journey to find her forever home. Despite her young age, Nutter Butter is surprisingly calm and composed. On walks, she’s a delight, moving gracefully on the leash. She's crate trained and displays a curious nature, exploring her environment before seeking affection. Nutter Butter does have a playful spirit—she can get a bit mouthy when excited, but her food motivation makes her easy to redirect with toys or treats. She adores food and is eager to learn the essential skills that will help her grow into a well-mannered adult dog. She’s still getting to know other dogs and her behavior with cats is unknown, so reaching out to FOHA can provide more insight. As a puppy, she can be mouthy during play, so they can assist in determining if she’s the right fit for families with young children.
