About Wilfred

Meet Wilfred, the charming little guy who's just arrived at Austin Pets Alive! With a playful spirit and a meow that can melt hearts, Wilfred is an expert at making friends with both humans and other animals. He adores playtime but finds even greater joy napping in your lap. Wilfred has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), which doesn't classify as cancer but means he has a weakened immune system and warrants a shorter lifespan. Despite this, most FeLV-positive cats lead full, happy lives with proper care. He can happily share his home with other FeLV+ cats, while he's also just fine around dogs. Our team at APA! is here to provide guidance and support for Wilfred's unique needs. All cats at APA! come fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines, and include microchips for safety. Our Cat Behavior Team offers lifetime support to help you and Wilfred thrive together. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet boy into your home, reach out for more details!
