About Shepherd

Meet Shepherd. This handsome gray tabby cat is not just good-looking; he’s also affectionate and eager to make new friends. He approaches every person as if they are long-lost companions ready to shower him with love. Found abandoned at a local park, Shepherd has truly overcome his troubled past. His trusting and sweet nature shines through as he enjoys all the pets and snuggles he can get. He gets along well with other cats, happily coexisting with his feline roommates. While he’s still learning how to engage with toys, he has firmly grasped two important concepts: treats and wet food, the latter of which he absolutely adores. If you're searching for a gentle, easygoing companion, Shepherd is ready to enrich your life. He’s already looking forward to his next petting session. Shepherd is being cared for in a foster home. If you’d like to meet him, just send a message or email adopt@ahsem.org. The adoption fee is $175, which includes everything from spay/neuter surgery to age-appropriate vaccines and wellness care. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
