About Sarge Strong Name

Meet Sarge - Strong Name, a charming 9-month-old Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix. Despite his big name, Sarge is a gentle giant with a playful pup's spirit and a laid-back cuddle buddy's heart. Sarge and his brother Ruger were discovered abandoned on a rural road in Fort Bend County. They found refuge with a caring family who provided love and veterinary care for two months. Now, Sarge is healthy, ready for a forever family! He thrives on attention, adores getting petted, and loves giving kisses. Sarge enjoys meeting new people and can get a little excited, perhaps jumping up for a hug, though his family is working to help him keep his paws on the ground. After playtime, he relaxes comfortably on a blanket. Don't let his relaxed demeanor fool you—Sarge enjoys running around the backyard and playing with toys. He’s a fantastic car rider too, settling down confidently while enjoying the ride. His personality shines through as sweet, gentle, and very affectionate. Sarge gets along well with dogs and children and loves adventures. He is house-trained and knows commands like 'Sit' and 'Kennel.' Though he pulls a bit on the leash, he responds well to guidance. Sarge would thrive in a home with a good-sized, securely fenced yard where he can stretch and play. He is a giant-breed puppy, so potential adopters should be ready for the space and training he needs, along with plenty of love and companionship. Sarge's experience with food guarding means he should be fed separately from other pets, but he has no aggression towards people. This great boy is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Sarge is committed to being a loving companion and is searching for a family who will cherish him. Is Sarge the missing piece in your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
