About Madea
Madea is about 4 years old and joined us from a Northern California shelter, where she felt scared and overwhelmed. We couldn’t let her stay there, as the environment was too challenging for her. Once she settles in, you’ll find that she’s the sweetest and gentlest companion you could ask for. She is house trained, calm, and quiet, with excellent house manners. Madea gets along well with both male and female dogs, making her a friendly addition to any home. Her gentle disposition truly shines through, especially when she’s cuddling. Unfortunately, she’s been in boarding for about 4.5 months due to a lack of available foster space. We’re eager to find her a loving foster home or, ideally, a forever family. While we aren’t certain of her exact breed mix, her adorable personality is what truly shines. Madea would thrive in a quiet home and often seems to gravitate towards women, though a tasty hot dog can win her loyalty quickly! Dogs like Madea, who need a little extra time, often have the most love to give. She truly deserves the chance to know what it feels like to belong. Give her the home she’s been waiting for!
