About Chico

Meet Chico, a charming 1.5-year-old Pit Bull mix. He boasts a creamy tan and white coat, complemented by a slate-grey muzzle and an adorable Pittie grin you can't resist. Chico is a friendly and polite gentleman, particularly with our volunteers. He interacts well with other dogs through the fence and shows great potential for socialization with careful introductions, especially with similarly sized active dogs. Although he’s on the larger side at 73 pounds, Chico benefits from a strong handler to help him navigate the world outside his kennel. While he can seem a bit stressed in his kennel environment, he blossoms outside where his wonderful personality shines. After some initial zoomies, he settles down quietly and prefers to be close to his people. This young boy came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center due to owner surrender and deserves a forever home where he can truly thrive. Will you be the one to give Chico the chance he needs?
