About Nyx

Nyx is a gentle German Shepherd who came into the rescue alongside puppies, who quickly found their homes. Initially terrified of people and leash walking due to a lack of socialization, she has made significant progress. Nyx enjoys the company of gentle and social dogs, can walk on a leash, and appreciates gentle chin scratches from familiar faces. Her ideal forever home would be quiet and patient, with someone willing to help her adjust to a more normal life. A confident canine companion could be beneficial to show her the ropes of home life. Recently, Nyx has faced some challenges returning to the playgroup due to past experiences with another dog, which has made her a bit nervous. Despite this setback, it’s clear that with the right environment, she can flourish. Nyx will thrive in a loving, calm home where she feels safe again. Extra care is needed to ensure secure spaces, as she has escaped a foster home before. She has shown improvement with household activities and learned to enjoy toys and walks. If you’re ready to provide Nyx with the safe space she deserves, consider bringing her into your life. Click apply to start the adoption process.
