About Velvet

Velvet is a charming young cat who arrived at WCHS as a stray back in June. Initially, she had lost a lot of her fur, leading us to wonder if it was due to allergies or self-grooming. Thankfully, as her coat has begun to regrow, it became clear that her sweet personality shines brighter than any concern about her appearance. Now, she spends time in the cat ward after being a beloved office cat, where her playful antics and friendly nature won over staff and visitors alike. Velvet adores attention and isn't shy about requesting it, sometimes hopping onto shoulders or seeking out laps for extra love. She gets along well with other cats and is also great with kids. Velvet’s adoption fee is $75, and she is spayed and fully vaccinated. If you’re looking for an affectionate friend, she might be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
