Currently residing in Memphis, TN, he’s ready to find a loving home that can provide him with the care he deserves.

Meet Steve! Steve is a 4-year-old French Bulldog who has completed our Big Boy Potato Weight-Loss Program and lost an impressive 10 pounds! While he might be a bit grumpy about the new restrictions on snacking, there’s no denying that he’s healthier and feels much better. Steve now weighs a cheerful 33 pounds, enjoys playing, and breathes easier, leaving his past of being an overstuffed potato behind. Fully vetted and heartworm negative, Steve gets along well with both dogs and cats, although the felines may not share his enthusiasm. An important note for potential adopters: previous experience with French Bulldogs is required. If you’ve been owned by a Frenchie before, you’ll know exactly how to handle their unique attitude and stubbornness. Currently, Steve is seeking a new staff member who understands that adopting him means supporting a spirited 33-pound potato. He's looking for someone who has Frenchie management experience, excellent belly-rub skills, and the ability to resist his dramatic claims of starvation. If you think you qualify, submit your adoption application, and Steve will screen all candidates carefully between his naps. Serious applicants only; Steve has standards. This could be the start of something paw-some.
